| Description | Earlier announced Al Ahram Canadian University project was recently endorsed by the Private Universities Council, Chaired by Dr. Moufid Shehab, Minister of Higher Education & Scientific Research. University would comprise 12 faculties for Information & Media, Computers & Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering & Technology, Dental Medicine, Pharmacology, Tourism, Arts, Environmental Studies, Economy & Political Science, BioTechnology & Health. Meanwhile applications for both the Nile University project [sponsored by the Ministry of Communication & Information Technology] & the Egyptian British University project got approval in principal, subject to the final review and approval by a financial/ technical committee of the Council formed for that purpose. |
