| Description | Ministry of Housing & Utilities has awarded L.E. 25 million contract to extend a potable water pipeline from Sheikh Zayed station to feed the new investment area in Giza now hosting 55 factories. Winner is said to be a company reporting to the Ministry. The pipeline will have initially a design capacity to pump 50,000 M3/ day. Meanwhile studies are said to be prepared at the Ministry for a new L.E. 120 million sanitary drainage water station in Abu Rawash to serve the same area. According to Counselor Mahmoud Abul Leil, Giza Governor L.E. 125 million budget funds were endorsed to proceed with a roads network & further L.E. 295 million for a transformer station and electricity distribution networks. |
