| Description | A conference held recently in Sharm El Sheikh launched a new $ 300 million project to build potable water & sanitary drainage projects in Southern Sinai Governorate, Dakahliya Governorate, Luxor & Asswan Governorate, backed by funding from the USAID. Project also provides for the saving of soft water consumption and the erection of smart water consumption meters. High-ranking executives of the USAID Agency & Southern Sinai Governor, Mr. Mustafa Affifi, have attended the conference. Project involves the construction of new potable water & waste water stations at major cities in those governorates & reduce waste of soft water. Meanwhile treated wastewater would be used to irrigate wood forests. Project would also generate reasonable employment opportunities in these Governorates. |
