| Description | Egypt Minister of Petroleum has signed recently two concession agreements with IOEC, of Italy & Kufpic, of Kuwait, for petroleum exploration & exploitation under $ 40 million committed investments. The first, signed with IOEC, covers 1,247 KM2 offshore area at the Mediterranean, under $ 21.7 million committed investments and $ 1.5 million signature bonus, to drill 5 wells over the next 8 years. The second, signed with Kufpic, covers 1,667 Km2 area, to the west of Baltim offshore area, also in the Mediterranean, under $ 15 million committed investments and $ 2 million signature bonus, to drill three wells over the next 9 years. |
