| Description | GARPAD - General Authority for Rehabilitation & Agricultural Development, has offered for sale in public auctions 250,000 feddans reclaimed lands of different level infrastructure adequacy to potential investors country wide. They include lots ranging 200 to 5,000 feddans, part of seven projects, to be irrigated by Nile water. They are located at East Suez Zone (40,000 feddans), Wadi El Naqra, in Asswan Governorate (65,000 feddans) North Bahr Wahbi & Kom Oshim in Fayyoum Governorate (2,260 feddans), at the North West Coast in Matrouh Governorate (42,000 feddans) also in New Qouta Zone in Fayyoum Governorate (16,000 feddans), at the North West Cost, along El Hammam Canal (52,500 feddans) & at Qastal and Adendan Zone in Asswan Governorate (5,000 feddans). Auctions for lots within the said seven projects will be held at GARPAD branch offices on 6/27, 7/18, 8/1, 8/22, 9/5, 9/19 & 9/26/2004. Also offered for sale are further 12,000 feddans on Abu Simbil/ Toshki Road in Asswan Governorate and 25,000 feddans in East Oweinat for irrigation by well water. Here auctions will be held on 9/26/2004 for the first at GARPAD Asswan office and 10/13/2004 for the second at GARPAD headquarters, 1 Nadi El Seid St., Dokki, Giza. |
