Mahmoud Abu Zeid, Egypt Minister of Water Resources & Irrigation, the L.E. 2 billion + Nagee Hamadi barrage & hydro - electric power station project is now 24 % complete. So far L.E. 760 million were spent on the project. Project is backed by Euro 124 million and Euro 75 million credits from both the German Bank of Reconstruction & the EIB - European Investment Bank. |
