| Description | A contract was recently signed in Cairo in the presence of Prime Minister Dr. Atef Ebeid on the formation of a new joint venture capitalized at L.E. 370 million to produce rails for the railway lines at HADISOLB factories under technical support & licensing of a world reputed Austrian Co. Project foreign currency component is Euro 42 million. Shareholders therein include HADISOLB, National Organization for Military Production, the A.O.I. [Arab Organization for Industrialization] & the Holding Co. for Metallic Industries. Project is scheduled to start production by December 2005 at an annual design capacity of 60,000 tons to be increased to 100,000 tons on a later stage. |
