Mohamed Awad, Chairman of EEHC - Egyptian Electricity Holding Co., $ 225 million financing package has been arranged to cover the foreign currency component of New Talkha power station project. Of the said amount, $ 25 million are raised by the EIB - European Investment Bank and the remaining $ 200 million by both AFESD - Arab Fund for Economic & Social Development & KFESD - Kuwaiti Fund for Economic & Social Development. Local currency component of the project, put at L.E. 120 million, will be raised by EDEPC - East Delta Electricity Production Co. |
