| Description | Request for expression of interest among eligible consultants to extend the required technical assistance & prepare a study on the national strategy for the development of air cargo including the creation of an international cargo hub at Cairo International Airport under funding from the World Bank. Assignment is divided in 3 components : (a) developing a national cargo strategy for Egypt, (b) enhancing Egypt Air Cargo Co. as part of the national cargo strategy & (c) restructuring & developing the Cargo Village at Cairo Airport to foster greater cargo demand. Contract is expected to start November 1, 2004 & would last for 29 weeks. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the service [ brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among the staff .. etc. ]. They should also provide evidence that over the last 10 years they have carried out at least three similar assignments each worth not less than $ 100,000. Evaluation of applications & selection of consultants will be in accordance with the World Bank guidelines. |
