| Description | $ 3 million Japanese grant was recently raised to finance studies and experimental works for the recycling of agricultural drainage water mixed with irrigation water. According to Dr. Eng. Mahmoud Abu Zeid, Minister of Water Resources & Irrigation, initial studies have indicated that the concept may provide 2 billion M3 of (mixed) wastewater, which could serve horizontal expansion projects. Dr. Abu Zeid added that the concept would be initially experimented on 150,000 feddans land in West Delta under this grant. |
