| Description | Telecom Egypt SAE has signed final contract with a consortium of 4 banks to underwrite & market its L.E.2 billion bonds issue. Consortium groups Banque du Caire, Alexandria Bank, Arab African International Bank & Citibank. Portions, agreed upon, are L.E. 950 million, L.E 450 million, L.E. 300 million and L.E. 300 million respectively. Issue comprises two types of bonds, one carrying a fixed rate ranging 10.95 % to 11.27 % and the other carrying a variable rate exceeding Central Bank rate by 0.7 % to 1.6 %. |
