| Description | According to Eng. Sameh Fahmy, Egypt Minister of Petroleum, a unique investment company - Petro Sport, was recently formed by the Petroleum Sector to build and operate L.E. 200 million sports complex in New Cairo. The project, to occupy 87 feddans land (356,700 M2 land) and to serve up to 36,000 members, is scheduled for completion in 24 months. Shareholders of Petro Sport include the Pension Fund of the Petroleum Sector, holding 60 %, Petrojet, Enppi, Gasco and Meditap holding 10 % each. Members must pay L.E. 20,000 and that includes L.E. 10,000 for 100 shares and the rest as subscription fee. Payment could be effected over 4 years. |
