While directing to expedite formalities to open 90 new factories, getting total number of factories to reach 340, the Governor endorsed the allocation of a land lot to build a showroom, where each factory would be able to display its products. He further directed to establish an information center; a vocational training center and a secondary industrial school specialized in the marble & granite industry. Worth indicating is that the zone hosts L.E. 5 billion investments & employs 45,000 workers. Annual exports of the zone are put at $ 175 million. |
