| Description | More details were recently announced on the L.E. 135 million project to produce magnesium sulfate in Fayyoum. Project owner is EMISAL - Egyptian Minerals & Salts Co. SAE. CEO of EMISAL, Dr. Atef Dardir, said recently that the project will occupy 25 feddans land (105,000 M2) & is scheduled for completion by the beginning of 2007. It would have an annual design capacity of 27,000 tons, 50 % of which planned for export. Worth indicating is that KfW of Germany [German Bank for Reconstruction] has extended Euro 1.9 million grant to back the project. |
