Sameh Fahmy, Egypt Minister of Petroleum, announced that studies are to be prepared to build a new petroleum pipeline, parallel to the existing Sumid line, extending from Sidi Kreir on the Mediterranean to Al Sukhna Port on the Red Sea. He added that Sumid Board of Directors has endorsed the allocation of $ 500,000 funds to finance the project feasibility study. Eng. Fahmy revealed that India has expressed interest to join the project. |
