Rashid Mohamed Rashid, announced that Egypt now ranks 5th among world leading cement exporters after it turned to be producer of 37 million tons & exporter of 10 million tons. Figures compare with 18 million tons production & 8 million tons of imports few years ago. The highly seen official was addressing a meeting of members of the Alexandria Businessmen Society & the Egyptian French Businessmen Society [among other businessmen organizations] & announced that a Presidential Decree would be soon issued to revamp the country banking system to better adapt to the international system. Meeting was attended by more than one thousand officials, executives & experts. The daily Al Alam Al Yom of the same day quoted Eng. Rashid on its front page announcing the [present] tax law is unfair and would be exploded. |
