| Description | OCI - Orascom Construction Industries was declared winner of L.E. 37 million contract to build a pharmaceuticals factory in Sixth of October City. Client is Astra Zeneca International and the project is for completion in 19 months. Job provides for the construction of the main production lines building, also other utilities buildings including the administration, packaging, forwarding & laboratories buildings. In the mean time OCI announced it was awarded another $ 78 million contract in Qatar to execute a residential buildings complex (96 buildings), also related infrastructure works including water, waste water, electricity & telecommunication networks. The project, for completion in 16.5 months is executed in joint venture with the Qatari Al Darwish Engineering Co. |
